These were done quite some time back. Thought I'd share it with you anyway.

Picture1 - A puzzle framed with dried tree branches.

This is how you do it.
Build a puzzle, stick it on chipboard/hardboard which is slightly bigger in size than the puzzle.
Varnish naturally dried tree branches then stick the branches on to the chipboard with wood glue.

Picture2- A wall clock framed with dried tree branches.

Varnish dried tree branches. Stick them on to the rim of a wall clock with contact glue.

DIY Pink Ribbon Scarf

A simple DIY idea for tomorrow, or any other day really.

Here's a tutorial to match the picture's
1. You need the following:
-Pink scarf
-Ribbon
-Needle and thread
-Scissor
-Dress making pins
-Fabric glue
-Crystals

2. Cut according to how big you'd like your ribbons to be. Mine are 15cm long.
3. Fold your ribbons and pin them.
4. Stitch the ribbons where they meet up.
5. Arrange the ribbons in the desired pattern on the scarf, pin them.
6. Sew the ribbons to the scarf.
7. Finally glue on the crystals.

A hijab is a head covering that is commonly worn by muslim women.
A wider meaning would be that of modesty.

Pink hijab day, where women don a pink headscarf in support of breast cancer awareness.

"Sawubona" that's "Hello" in Zulu which is one of the 11 official languages of Mzansi for sure, also known as. South Africa. I'll be getting back to South Africa in time to come.
