MBFWJ is my most anticipated Fashion Week this fashion season. The 4th Annual MBFWJ will be held from the 7th-9th Of March at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown Johannesburg .

Get ready for top South African Designers which includes the likes of David Tlale, Thula Sindi and Gavin Rajah who's Pebble Dress won the award for the Most Beautiful Object in South Africa 2013 at the Design Indaba in Cape Town this past weekend.

On Sunday 28 October 2012 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa Fashion Awards was held in Johannesburg.

Thula Sindi was honoured as SA Tourism Designer of the Year.

A little more about Thula.
Thula Sindi is one of South Africa's most well known young designers. He designs, manufactures and markets a women's fashion line. His creations are timeless, elegant and sophisticated.

Date of birth: 18 July 1983
Place of birth: Klerksdorp, Northwest Province South Africa
Education: National School of Arts Johannesburg. London International School of Fashion(Lisof)
First job: Head designer at Vlisco, a Dutch textile Company.
Runways: Paris, Hong Kong, Beijing, Lagos & New York.
Awards: Small Enterprise Development Agency, Best Youth Entrepreneur 2012.
