DIY Candle Holders
I love my farm town, I really do. The summer showers that freshen the air, the little treasures that money can't buy.
The only downfall being that this is one of the worst lightning area's in the country. As soon as the sky is lit with electricity, there no longer is electricity down here.
Very often we have candle lit dinners, romantic right?
There's something about dimmed lights. It brings a sense of calmness and tranquility. That been said though, constant black-outs do tend to become a teeny bit frustrating.
Today I'll be sharing a few simple candle holder DIY ideas.

Garlic Butter Naan
This Garlic Butter Tandoori Naan, from the Cosmopolitan Cuisine V recipe book, pairs perfectly with curries.
Ingredients:
2 cups self raising flour
2 tablespoons oil
1½ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup milk and water mix
Ghee
Garlic butter (recipe right this way)
Method:
1. Mix flour, oil, sugar and salt in a food processer.
2. Make a soft dough wit the milk and water.
3. Cover with cling wrap and leave for an hour.
4. Divide dough into 8 balls.
5. Roll dough into a thick triangle shape (I went for round-ish)
6. Heat a non stick pan, brush with ghee and cook naan one side at a time on both sides.
7. When naan is cooked, brush with garlic butter and wrap in kitchen cloth.
These freeze perfectly!
If you choose to freeze some, omit step 7. Defrost and heat up on a non stick pan with some ghee. Thereafter brush on the garlic butter.
