A guiltless Indulgence- 2-in-1 Chocolate Body Wash+ Body Moisturiser

Smells good enough to eat up! Seriously! Once applied, stay away from chocolate lovers.

This easy to make 2-in-1 product is oh so simple to make and smells oh so delicious.

Use as a bath milk/cream and thereafter as a body cream.
Chocolate right through!

Ingredients:
500ml Aqueous Cream
400ml Cocoa butter Cream
100g Baby powder

Steps:
1. Mix all three together thoroughly
2. Empty into clean containers.

I emptied half of the cream into the aqueous cream tub and the other half it into a cleaned out Nutella jar. Chocolate and nutella. Fitting, no?

I'm saving the nutella one for the bath and the other tub for my dresser.

Operation Mannequin

Well hello there. Meet my slightly disfigured mannequin.

I love creating clothes for myself. I love experimenting with draping of fabrics. For this I needed a mannequin. So, being the DIY sucker that I am, I had to try making one.

I used this tutorial to make my mannequin http://goo.gl/xH7WsE

Thereafter I covered it with paper maché, stuffed it with newspaper and gave it a layer of paint. I used a piece of wood as the base and an empty fabric roll for the stand.

It's supposed to fit to your body. Mine is very much out of proportion. Something is better than nothing right?

This was take 1. Hopefully take 2 would be more successful.

Stripes are Hot

Stripes! They're all around us! There's no way you can miss them.

Incorporating stripes into your wardrobe is really simple.

There are a few guidelines. Horizontal stripes tend to make you look broader. Opt for vertical stripes as they elongate the body. However, horizontal stripes are easier to come by. If you have them, keep them!

Try not to mix prints as this can sometimes be tacky. Rarely can this be pulled off. Stay on the safe side with a stripe and a solid.

Bright colours team up well with stripes. Go for the primary colours; red, yellow and blue. Green and orange look great too!

Note, these are only guidelines, you do not have to follow these rules religiously. Fashion is about having fun and being adventurous with your garments. So go ahead, mix, match and go crazy.
