Veggggie Wrap Recipe

Another light summers dish

What you need:
•Tortilla
•Carrot, julienned
•Cucumber, julienned
•Pepper, julienned
•Cream Cheese

Method:
1. Cut the tortilla in half
2. Spread cream cheese over the tortilla.
3. Place the cucumber,carrot and pepper on the tortilla and roll up the tortilla.

Hello Crafters. This Is For You!

Don't you love a store that gets you all excited the minute you put a foot in it?

A few days ago a friend and I were just passing time when we saw an interesting name for a store. We decided to pay it a visit since we had time to kill. At first we thought "how cute" but that soon changed to "oh wow".

The "Designers Box" in Ermelo Mpumalanga sucked us right in. From the front it looks like a cute little store with interesting things but take a few steps further or to the side and you'll discover that "little" isn't so "little". The Designers Box is like a little maize. The deeper we went the more amazed we were. They stock everything from beads to paints and canvasses and clay. Decoupage goodies, scrapbooking and a whole lot more. The best part, the pricing is quite reasonable.

It is definitely a crafter's paradise and a store I would visit over and over again.

Avo Lettuce Bed Salad

Summer and salads go perfectly well together.

What you'll need:
Avocado
Cucumber
Carrots
Lettuce
Sesame seeds
Lemon juice
Salt
Pepper
Tomato(optional)

1. Wash and drain lettuce.
2. Mash up avocado's and season with lemon juice salt and pepper.
3. Chop up cucumber and tomato and mix into the avocado.
4. Place a dollop of mixture on the lettuce bed.
5. Place grated carrot over and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Definitely a Yay!

Recipe For Two Smarties Cookies - 1 for me, 1 for you

This is the ideal recipe for those cookie cravings. The perfect serving size. Enough to satisfy the crave but not enough to binge on.

Ingredients:
30g butter
2 tblsp light brown sugar
1 tblsp granulated sugar
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup all purpose flour
3 heaped tablespoon Smarties

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Heat butter in the microwave until it begins to melt and is softened. Add in sugar, salt and vanilla. Mix well by hand.
3. Add the yolk and stir again.
4. Add baking soda and flour and stir until combined.
5. Stir in smarties.
6. Form cookie dough into two balls and place on baking sheet.
7. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

1 Addition, Many Ways Bobby Pins & Ribbon

All you need is some bobby pins, gold spray paint and some ribbon

Spray paint the bobby pins, clip them onto a ribbon and use as a Pharaoh necklace or as a belt.

Remove the bobby pins from the ribbon and add some gold to the hair.
