Mothers Day Coaster Gift

Mums day is just around the corner. Why not make her something special and one of a kind?

 Like the previous DIY, we will be making a coaster. 

 What you need:  

*A 10cm x 10cm canvas  

*Acrylic paint (optional) 

* Permanent marker(optional) 

* Modge Podge  

* Craft paper 

* Scrapbook stickers

 

You can choose between a painted or decopauged coaster. 

For the painted option follow this
tutorial. 

 For the decopauged option scroll down. 

 1. Stick the craft paper on to the canvas by using the modge podge as a glue.

2. Once its dry, arrange your 3D scrapbooking stickers on the canvas. 

 3. Apply 5 layers of modge podge, allowing to dry between each layer.

All done!

From Bleh to Yeah- Glasses Case Revamp

What you'll need:
•Glasses case
•Modge podge
•Brush
•Pictures of your choice

Steps:
1. Cut out pictures that you fancy
2. Apply modge podge with a brush to the pictures. Stick the pictures on to the clean glasses case. Make a collage.
3. Once the modge podge is completely dry, brush another layer of modge podge over the pictures.
4. Once dry, apply another layer. Add 3 layers in this manner.

Ta-da! Complete, revamped and funky as can be.

Your new case does not have to be restricted to glasses. Use it as a pencil case to store your stationary, or as I will be using it, as a clutch!

JOURNALING---Let's Get Started

So I've decided to start writing in a journal again. Check back tomorrow for all the reasons why. In the meantime here's an easy and pocket friendly journal DIY tutorial!

Things you need:
•A note book
•Modge Podge
•Tissue paper or serviette
•A paint brush (not shown in the picture)

What to do:
1. Paint a layer of modge podge onto the notebook.
2. Place the tissue paper on the wet modge podge and wipe off any excess.
3. Once the modge podge has dried completely apply a 2nd layer on top and allow to dry.
