DIY- TEXTURED CARDBOARD

This was one of my favourite DIY projects at the age of 10. Sad to say, I haven't made it since then, until now.

It's so simple and requires minimal effort.

What you'll need:
•Tissue paper (the quantity will depend on how much cardboard you planning on making)
•Food colouring
•Stainless steel dish
•Water

Steps:
1. Break tissue paper up into pieces and put into the dish.
2. Cover tissue paper with warm water.
3. Add as much colouring as you fancy.
4. Mix well using a spoon. (I strongly suggest you do not use your hands as the colour stays on them for quite some time)
5. Allow to soak over night.
The next morning:
6. Press paper pulp into a tray. Press out excess water.
7. Place in the sun and allow to dry up completely. (Mine took 2 days, although time will be reduced during the warmer months.)
8. Carefully peel away from tray.
